Our Story
Servlet is your local, business web designer and hosting provider for your website, applications, cloud resources, and email. We've seen and helped the number of websites grow from around 18,000 to over 1,100,000,000 today according to the Netcraft survey.
If you've tried the big guys and gotten frustrated. Or if you simply don't want to work with a company who will sell your information to the highest bidder. Or if you tried to do it yourself, we can help.
We've been in business since 1995, so we know what we're doing and offer great services at competitive prices. We have helped clients in southwest Ohio make the web work for their business.
Billing Information
We use Freshbooks as our billing system. Invoices are sent on the first day of the month via email to the contact(s) of record for the account. Terms are net 30 and late fees may be assessed for tardy payments. A click on the invoice will lead you to the invoice details and will provide a way to pay online with a credit/debit card or via bank transfer.
If you prefer to do business the old fashioned way (yeah, we often do too) we also accept checks and money orders.

Servlet Policies
Effective April 29, 2026. These are the default Servlet Policies for our collective internet properties including, but not limited to, yellowsprings.com, dayton.net, servlet.com, coax.net, and siscom.net. These policies are in-force unless a specific contractual relationship supersedes these policy defaults.
Privacy Policy
We commit to keep client information secure and confidential. The information we collect and store consists of: basic client information, name, contact information, billing information, service information for provisioning, operations, and support, communications over time, and certain logs and backups for bounded time periods.
Our default answer in sharing client information is “no” to all parties. The only way we will release your information is in response to a valid and vetted legal request. Oh, and by the way, we won’t sell your information ever. If you are subject to GDPR or the California Privacy Act, you can delete your information in our systems by simply sending a message to support@servlet.com referencing your name and customer number.
SMS Specific Policies
Logical Solutions aka Servlet (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. When you opt-in to receive SMS messages, we collect your phone number, consent, and basic contact info to provide support or billing help.
- Disclosure: We do not share your mobile opt-in or SMS consent with anyone.
- Opting Out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Acceptable Use Policy
Be an adult. That’s the short synopsis of the policy. Specifically, don’t steal online, don’t break into other people’s systems, don’t bully other users online, and don’’t use hate speech. If you would be embarrassed to say or do something in real life, don’t do it online using these resources.
Billing, Cancellation & Refunds
Billing: Our billing cycle runs monthly. Invoices are generated at the start of the month, paid in advance. Payments are late if not received by the 20th of the month. Services may be terminated for non-payment or chronic late payments.
Cancellation: Services may be cancelled by providing 30 days written notice including your name, account number, and preferred cancellation date.
Refunds: We do not issue refunds. We may provide service credit for what we deem sufficient cause during the current billing cycle.
Support & Backups
Support: We respond as soon as we can to requests submitted via our Support Page. Requests are handled in the order they arrive.
Backups: Our default policy is: Nightly snapshots (6x), Weekly snapshots (3x), and Monthly snapshot (1x). Restore services undertaken at the behest of a client are billable services at our standard hourly operations rate.
Data Retention: We retain 14-30 days of logs for operational uses. We do not retain logs older than 30 days.
Disputes & Intellectual Property
Disputes: We work to resolve disputes proactively. Should that fail, we ask disputes be handled through arbitration before legal remedies are sought.
Intellectual Property & Domains: We ask clients to respect IP rights. Valid infringement complaints are treated as a breach of Acceptable Use. Domain disputes follow ICANN rules.
Consequences of Policy Breach
- First offense: Warning
- Second offense: Account suspension for 30 days
- Third offense: Account termination
